from the beginning of the drive through to the Otters Pool & the tranquil lake at the end, this route is just magical & well worth the drive from the Galloway Forest Park through to the Red Kite Trail

What a drive. Brilliant scenic views, plenty of picnic places and also places to wild camp. The highlight was Otter Pools, but the whole drive was relaxing and highly recommended.

This is a must see for £2 it's amazing stop halfway at the otter pool it's great and there are toilets there, it's just a pity there were noisy children playing in the water so no wildlife to be see but still a great visit.

Although the scenery is amazing and utterly beautiful, the road needs to be sorted! Unbelievable pot holes which on numerous occasions led me to scrape the underside of my car and panic that something was going to fall off. Absolutely terrifying with small children in...More

A great place to getaway from the hustle. A secret little gem to sample as you get into Scotland. There are lots of places to pull over and look at the scenery. I was very surprised with this area as I thought the Highlands would...More

It's very easy to follow but not really a cycle, meaning it doesn't take you back to the beginning.

I recently travelled down the road and I would say it was more than suitable for a transit van. The road is a single track with passing points but is wide enough for a transit type van. The road is mainly gravel track but is... More
