Small but worth a look

Very small but definitely worth a look. Some quite interesting exhibits on show, shows the Peebles Hydro before and after the fire.

Nice exhibition for Manor Valley and an art exhibition upstairs. Lady was very welcoming and explained the background on both floors

Visited the museum to see the embroidery exhibition FibrexFive. Gallery on the top floor. The exhibition was mainly felt based and I had expected more variety of stitching exhibits. That said, the standard was extremely high and all exhibits were for sale.

Yes, this is a small exhibition space but my children (9 and 7) loved learning about the current exhibition, Getting in Touch with the Past. Early coins, seeing & trying on the Roman outfit in situ. They joined a workshop with hands-on exhibits, learning how early tool crafting technology developed - from crafting spears to making fire. They were even... More

So little to see, so little to do. Hardly worth while going in unless you want to use the toilets or get out of the rain.
