Always worth a visit when in the area with the hills providing a lovely backdrop. Well maintained but I wish they would reduce the grass cutting in the wilder areas and let the wild flowers flourish.

Lovely gardens, beautiful plants, very quiet and relaxing walk. Nice clean cafe, polite staff. Very interesting talk about the Osprey birds and watching them via video link.

There is a walled garden to walk round of which there is a small kitchen garden area, also a beautiful Laburnum tunnel, glasshouse and large decorative gardens. outside the wall a walk by a Burn is well worth taking your time,quite a lot of birdlife...More
