I enjoyed the hike to the top. Very picturesque, a little strenuous, but worth it for the views. The weather was good luckily, and I would like to come back again. Beautiful area.

Lovely walk and not too steep if you go from the Bowden village side. Wonderful views from the top that make the climb worthwhile

we went up the Eildons from Bowden village so it was more of a gradual walk then a climb, well except for the last bit, take time and go up the views of the borders is stunning.
