Excellent walk from Melrose to Hadrians wall. Climbing Scenic Eildon Hills was invigorating. The walk then led to Bowden Village which is picturesque with a marvellous old kirk. That was just day 1.

The Way is a magnificent varied hike and climb from fascinating Melrose to Lindesfarne/Holy Island where Christianity was founded in the UK. Inspiring.
