Went to the museum and scented garden as well as the walk up to the waterfall and down to the band stand, there was some work being done with a new lottery funded building next to the kids park,, but it... Sad as not like it use to be some years ago. Nothing to see, scruffy and no colour or plants of any significance. I know we are only in Spring. Come on Hawick you can do better !

Couple of hours wandering around the park and despite all the work and construction taking place the area is spotlessly clean and tidy. Well maintained gardens, pathways and water features as well as the statues and monuments. Will be a super place to revisit when the work is complete. Lovely riverside walks around and back to the carpark. Will return.... More

I didn't really appreciate what an amazing asset to Hawick Wilton park is until I moved to Kelso! Especially in view of the Duke of Roxburgh closing Floors to all but a fee paying public. Wilton Park is big enough for a fairly substantial dog walk. It is very well maintained with something for everyone; riverside walk, fabulous bandstand with... More

We are indeed so lucky to have this beautiful park which offers brilliant walking, running or cycling space on paths in any season. Great for grass sports too and often used for rugby, football and running. With the addition of the adventure play area, newly refurbed water fountain, coffee shop, thinning of the trees, replanting of the beds - the... More

A magnificent park with a great number of attractions which will soon have a very large play area for children and a new cafe. The views of the river are stunning at any time of year. Don't forget to visit the museum.
