Easy to access and free entry. There is a preponderance of Motor biking exhibits reflecting local heroes but other halls would benefit from more local exhibits showing Borders history.

Fabulous gardens to walk in or sit at one of the many benches to relax and take the sun. The museum itself is very well kept and has the usual array of local artefacts and local history. Toilet facilities on site. No dogs allowed inside...More

So many items that bought back memories from the post war era, also a great display of motorcycle history, plenty of stuff to keep my grandchildren amused too! Great museum !

After the recent improvements it. Is now a that caters for all age groups. The scenery is second to none. When the better weather comes the flora and funa show them selves in all their glory.

Great little find, free entry, plenty of local history, the victorian school room is great to experience as children can dress up and use the tables chalk and slate boards to get an idea of the life children had. Nice historic building with little gift...More
