Absolutely fantastic couple hours spent wandering round this amazing gem of a place, highly recommend a visit! Staff are super friendly and informative. I especially loved the wee room full of old 40s wedding dresses , photos, jewellery etc, . Easiest 5star review ever!

Visited Thursday 18th Introduction upon arrival and advised the layout. Enjoyed the library and couple of shelves of books of sale....coffee machine (£1.50) We took our dog Have a walk round History and enjoy the Story of Montrose.

Great for aircraft or aviation enthusiasts as well as anyone looking for a glimpse into the not too distant past. Lots to see and read about the history of aviation and of the station itself.

On a visit here with a primary school class the volunteer guides were full of enthusiasm and information, answering questions and showing exhibits. This is a hidden gem worth finding.

There is a little shop and a drinks machine but no cafe !

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. I would allow between 1 and 2 hours. From November to March we are only open at weekends, Saturday 10am - 4pm and Sundays 12noon - 4pm.
