I very much enjoyed my visit to the 'Landmarks: Poets, Portraits and Landscapes of Modern Scotland' at the art gallery on Tuesday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, pointing me towards at William Lamb Studio as an added bonus.More

This museum is beautifully situated behind the main street in Montrose. The town had its moment so the buildings are very good. The recession of a few years ago has not been recuperated from. The museum shows you what Montrose has been in the past:...More

Thought we'd pop in for 10 mins and ended up spending nearly two hours inside. Diverse collection of artefacts from the neolithic to last century. Well worth a visit - the wildlife exhibits on the top floor are particularly interesting.

This is a wonderful small museum with an excellent collection of artefacts. The range covers prehistoric to Iron Age to modern! From the Picts to the Jacobites, and everything in between! I was lucky enough to visit during the fossil exhibition which was extremely interesting....More

Love this place, and the ever changing exhibitions it houses, touching the history of the town and it's past inhabitants. There is always something interesting on, or a fantastic array of pictures, exhibits, and a wee shop to tap into your retail needs. Thank you...More
