Design influenced by the five times Open Champion and famous course...

Design influenced by the five times Open Champion and famous course architect James Braid, this traditional 18-hole Championship links course measures 6,360 yards. We are very proud of our traditions, our Clubhouse and, most of all, our Golf Course which combines the best elements of links and heath. With tight fairways, challenging carries and compact, undulating greens, it is admired by visitors from home and overseas. Old Scots pines and sandhills forged by nature give the terrain an enduring quality in keeping with its long history. Hallmarks such as the 'Hogan' hole (the sixth) and the Buddon Burn (the twelfth) conspire to give you a round of golf to remember. Our Clubhouse is one of the finest old golf buildings in Scotland. Its unique and delightful lounges are full of character. Devotees of the history of golf will be interested to know of our origins, borne of the close trading relationship between Dundee and Calcutta in the halcyon days of the Jute Industry. Friendly staff afford a real Scottish welcome and good food and wine will complete your day here.

We felt fortunate to be able to play Panmure Golf Club. It is a natural terrain course which provides some challenge and unique holes. It is relatively flat, so it is an easy walk. If you can get on, it is a fun track.

What an exellent day of golf at Panmure G C. The course is beautifully kept, immaculate greens and green areas. The layout is the traditional links that is so popular with overseas visitors, with bumpy fairways and "interesting " bunkers. The clubhouse with friendly staff offers good food and refreshments. The one thing you want to do after lunch is... More

I'm not sure why Panmure isn't on the top of the list for any links-golf pilgrimage. It's a world-class course, as good as any of its more prestigious neighbors in my opinion. With mid-summer rough, a bit of wind and slick (almost flawless) greens it was a real championship test. The clubhouse is grand the practice facilities are as good... More

My friend and I turned up for a game on this wonderful golf course. we where met by the young professional who was most pleasant and extremely helpful. We then went into the Club House for some thing to eat and drink so much history and so much to see, the bar staff where very attentive and the food was... More

I joined Panmure this year as an international member. I had played Panmure on a couple of occasions over the years, and as it was a qualifying course this year for the British Senior Open, I decided to join. Boy, am I glad I did. The golf shop staff of Andrew, Mark and Ogilvie were awesome, and all of them... More

A great golf course, superb greens and great layout. Hole 6 was my favourite but a par is a major challenge and famous for Ben Hogan's suggested bunker at the green side. Tight, but not too tight fairways and very playable for handicap golfers. Quiet last four holes but they do not detract from this wonderful golf course and is... More

My foursome drove from St. Andrews to play Panmure. It had the best greens of all the courses on our trip. A very challenging layout, but maybe I wasn't playing well that day. It's a tight but fair course and certainly one of the unknown gems of Scotland. This course definitely stays on the list for our next trip.

I had the pleasure of playing Panmure as they kindly hosted the Scottish Seniors Matchplay Championships from Monday 11th July. To Friday 13th. The club house is steeped in history, the club was established in 1845 and their is a portrait of the first Captain on show, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The layout of the coarse is... Getting tucked in among the dunes, and you're really in classical links course terrain. Wonderful layout, excellent and challenging holes. Some greens you roll in, others need the high stop. Played mind-May, and of all the courses I played during an intensive 10 day trip, Panmure offered the best greens by far. Not to forget: Superb and very warm welcome... More
