Recently played Arbroath and would have to say this is a real hidden gem. Most golfers would come to this area and play Carnoustie but Arbroath is a must. The price I paid for my round was a fantastic price and compared to the other...More

A 'Parkland' course in my opinion although it claims 'Traditional Links' heritage. Having played many Links Courses in Scotland there is absolutely no doubt this is one of the worst. Only the 8th & 13th actually play along the coast but have railway tracks between...More

Was met at the golf shop by the Pro Lindsay, a more cheerful and friendly guy you could never wish to meet, nothing was to much trouble for him, I have played the course 3 times in a week of the open, and really enjoyed...More

I had the pleasure of playing the course today in glorious sunshine. After the prolonged dry spell we have had recently the course looked like a true Scottish links course should - parched tees and fairways offering plenty run bumps and bare lies! The club...More

Off season rate (February) was £15 - they gave us a tee on a Saturday and very enjoyable holiday Links golf. Club house not geared up for visitors and catering staff successfully gave impression they were not interested.

We received a very warm welcome from the professional. This old links course was most enjoyable with a good run of the fairways and well positioned bunkers around the greens. A point in its favour - not too long .
