Pitmedden Gardens is a lovely place but I have been twice recently to the Shop and Tearoom and been disappointed. The staff are lovely but there are not enough of them and in the Tearoom they are sorely overworked. This last visit was particularly slow....More

I expected very formal hedges and beds, but didn't realise that colourful herbaceous borders were such a large part of it all. And a fine fountain (which actually had water coming from it , few ever seem to these days) and an attractive country house....More

We visited in September, and were pleasantly bombarded with an array of beauty. Wonderfully maintained and sculptured hedges and beds filled with lovely blossoms in an abundance of color. The house is only a backdrop, but it contains a lovely tea room. Worth a visit.

This is a nice small garden , the gem is the cottage and barn there also , its really lovely . I think we would have been better visiting in June as not as many flowers as expected in july.
