I have been here a few times and really enjoyed it. This time I took my six year old granddaughter. She was absolutely engrossed in the birds and couldn't wait to have one fly te her arm (Harris Hawk). The keepers were very encouraging to the kids that held back and it was very informative. The wind got the better... More

It is a very good falconry centre. They allow the kids to be involved and we all enjoyed every moment of it.

Spent a fantastic lovely day at the centre. My wife uses an electric wheel chair but don't worry its fine. There is a blocked road at the moment but depending on what direction your coming there is another entrance. There was only one other couple there so we got very close to the birds. John was so knowledgeable and you... More

Got my husband a tuition session as a present & I went along to see the displays. We had a great time & my husband was thrilled to handle so many types of raptor. Well worth the entrance fee for a visit & the tuition was first class too & well worth the money.

I cannot recommend the north east falconry centre to anyone who likes animals. The birds are kept on a very short leash and frightened baby birds are forced to be pet by kids. That is not the way I expect animals to be treated. If you want to see owls and falcons better catch a show at the Dunrobin Castle... More

Drove up to here from Aberdeen. Cost £20.50 to get in for 2 adults and 1 child. The centre is pretty big but for visitors you only get to see a little of it. Plenty of birds to see as you walk around and some amazing impressive birds. You have to see a show when you go otherwise you won't... More

We went there as a family to experience falconry up close. There are different programs available from 3 hour in depth coaching and learning about the different types of birds, etc... and then they also have a quick introduction to falconry. Our oldest son did the 3 hour course and we did the introduction. Lot of fun to experience and... More

The North East Falconry Centre is a great place to visit either as a couple, with a family or even on your own. You pay an entrance fee which goes towards the upkeep of the birds of prey at the centre. There are display's which you can get involved in, for example having a Falcon land on your gloved hand... There are lots of different birds for the children to see and they put on shows during the day so they children can see the birds fly.
