Artistically it is an impressive piece of architecture, at first glance is very impressive indeed as most of the buildings in Aberdeen. I didn't have the pleasure to get inside but I appreciated its beauty from the outside. Impossible to miss it, its own towering spiers are visible from almost all parts of the city.

Sadly, the Church of Scotland has now closed Greyfriars John Knox Church. It is in the heart of the city centre and is part of the Marischal College complex. This former church building is currently for sale, not open to the public and (as of 2010) its future is uncertain.
