Quaint little village

Well worth a visit a quaint little fishing village just off of the harbour and a stones throw from the beach.

This is a lovely little place, small houses & flats near Aberdeen Beach/Harbour. Love a wee walk around. Although one of the residents made it clear we shouldn't be walking around there with our dogs as she was walking with hers?? Told us to walk on the beach. Other than this lady the other residents who I've spoken to are... More

Footdee is unique in Aberdeen. It is fascinating to visit and even though it is a little off the beaten track, it is certainly worth a visit.

Visit on a Sunny day. Worth taking a walk through the street. Watch ships float by. Can be a bit cold on a breezy day.

A great place for a stroll. It has loads of character in the buildings and gardens and is right next to the beach/harbour.

A fine walk around a quaint fishing village which is a bit like a step back in time. Just wish that I had brought my camera but I'll go back another day. Gqoqodq qoqoortunities for lots of detail shots and quaint sheds for fantasy pictures

We went on a Sunday night before we went to the airport, you drive to the end of the beach road and then walk a bit and there's a little housing settlement with lots of little houses and no road access. Not much going on a Sunday night, in fact pretty dead. Spoke to a resident who'd just come back... More

To visit this place is like step back in time. An original part of the old city when fisherman lived there good car parking in area or the no 15 bus from the city centre takes you right there. Also good for looking at thecharbour traffic. At one time a place wherecthexladiesxof the night plied their trade on the street... More

Was only quickly passing through, but what a glimpse of a truly unique wee fishing village. Had always thought Fittie was referring to the sport football, especially as pittodrie stadium is not too far away! Wish I could have spent more time exploring but was running late. Maybe on a return visit....

If your in the area, take a walk around fittie. It's a lovely spot with great character. Fittie is a residential area, so don't go peeping through people's windows!
