Statue at a busy junction in the centre of Aberdeen. Benches and steps around it are popular waiting spots if meeting someone in town. Unfortunately it is also a favourite spot for street buskers, some of which are unlistenably bad.

A most dignified rendition of the late King. Without any modernist features so the statue deserves clearly five stars.

Lived in Banchory for 3 years (in Wales now) didn't go into Aberdeen very often, but always looked for the statue to see if the guy playing the bagpipes was there. Nice statue as statues go....... Makes a good landmark.

This is a large statue on Union St and unless you were really interested in Edward VII you could quite happily pass it by without a second glance. My husband still took a photograph of it.

I don't think that the statue is one of the top attractions of the city, just a decent statue nothing more. During my stay in Aberdeen I didn't go for it I just found it by chance walking through the streets of downtown. All in...More

What can you say, it's a statue! Just stands there, does nothing, goes nowhere
