We visit regularly throughout the year when passing, but we were very surprised and disappointed to find Karen was no longer there, and that the church was no longer open on a Sunday!! Beautiful Church & very peaceful.

What a disappointment! Arrived at this beautiful church on Wednesday 1st November, on a beautiful sunny day, to find church closed. 350 miles to find it shut. Good job the Queen didn’t arrive out of the blue like we did! Even the car park pay...More

When we last visited the area the church was closed, so we were pleased to find it open this time. The style and decor are typically Scottish in that it isn't overly ornate (perish the thought!), but although it is relatively simple in style, it...More

Almost dropped here by accident whilst heading for distillery. The short walk up the hill led to a wonderful doorway. Once inside the church is beautiful. Looked around for the organ being an Organist, found it above the rear of her church, was then offered...More

I don't understand why it isn't busier. I waited outside with our dog while my wife attended the service starting at 11.30. The Queens car drove right next to us, I could clearly see HRH & Prince Philip. Prince Charles drove his own car &...More

Having parked in the car park opposite we strolled across to the church the royal family use when staying at Balmoral. Our timing was perfect as it was still open and a very informative guide told us of the history, the royal visitors over the...More

We attended this church whilst on a Balmoral Tour. The view from the Church is amazing, and the history is great when especially you know that H.M the Queen and Royal family also worship at this church whilst staying at Balmoral Castle.

Beautiful church. Inside well the £1 donation. Lovely stained glass windows and soaked in history with its long standing royal connections. We went at Easter and the flowers were impressive.
