Balmedie Beach is a large expanse of splendid sandy beach and impressive dunes, and I am impressed by the work done to make it accessible to all via a wooden boardwalk. It forms part of the Balmeddie Country Park and there is a smart cafe...More

Miles and miles of pure sand and the beautiful wind turbines turning in the breeze. If you are lucky you might catch sight of a dolphin out at sea. Can be very windy, but we were really lucky, a still sunny day in November.

It’s a beach!! How are there negative reviews!! This is a beautiful beach with parking and toilets a short walk from the beautiful beach. Dog walkers, kids playing, horses trotting. Perfect place with a variety going on.

Long beach, where you can walk and admire the dunes. Sadly it was a harsh wind and it was raining a lot when we visited there.

Always a fantastically inviting place to visit, with great walks to the north or south. Fun sand dunes a plenty. Pity about the recently sited wind turbines off the coast to spoil the view, but we all know the necessity. Still worth visiting, a nice...More

Balmedie Beach is a fantastic place to take the family for a bbq or just a general visit to the seaside. Sometimes there are horses going about, the sand is really clean, very little rubbish except for the area of marshland leading to the beach...More
