St Machars is rustic outside but majestic inside. One can look for hours at the ceiling. History abiunds. Graveyard fascinating fir histiruval features. Near parkland for children to play while adults look at chapel.

The cathedral was really beautiful and has lovely staff who explain the history of the place. Would recommend, it's one of the few places in Aberdeen worth visiting.

This is a lovely Cathedral and well worth looking around as part of a visit to Old Aberdeen with a walk along the picturesque Channonry between the two. The volunteer on duty was very helpful and informative.
