Beautiful place to drive around and stop for a walk. Thankfully we had a day with some clouds but sunshine as well. One of the most must see lakes if in that area of Scotland.

Wish we had not gone for day tours, best to relax, stay for 2-3 days & embrace Loch Lomond... we just had a 40-50” break but enjoyed thoroughly... My bunnies lies over the sea...Song refers to loc lomond...must be in all Travellers bucket list...

By UK standards a vast body of water. Stopped at the car park nr the power station and had a wander around the shoreline - very pretty. Apparently it's even better from the other side - less of a tourist route.

Beautiful scenery and wild nature. One of the best places I've been in my life. You can look the horizon, breathe and feel free.

Even on a cold grey October day this huge lake is striking. At times the road along the lake can be quite crowded but it is very easy to park and hike away to uncrowded beautiful vistas.
