Beautiful lake, be ready to wear rain clothes :)

Great nature and true Scottish setting! Nice to do a little roadtrip around Loch Lomond and stop wherever you see a nice viewpoint

We walk around the lake, through the hotel gardens and enjoyed the combination of green and blue... if you want to see this beautiful region from the air you can reserve a seat in the sea-plane although it is a little bit costly.

If you're going from Glasgow to Northern Scotland, don't hesitate and stop by this wonderful lake. I haven't been to all the atractions, just stopped in one little cozy village called Luss just to see the lake. And I wasn't disappointed at all. So, if you have time, just walk around it, take some pictures and visit most of the... More

We drove through the Trossachs to visit Doune Castle. Famous for it's filming of Monty Python and Game of Thrones pilot. Also the setting for the hit series Outlander. Such history and to see how life was back in those days was incredible.

I visited with a friend and loved it. You can walk for miles across it and up the hills for a better view. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Only 14 miles north of Glasgow, Loch Lomond (in Gaelic 'Lake of the Elms’) is a freshwater lake which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault. It is the largest lake in Great Britain by surface area and about 25 miles long with its width varying from ¾ of a mile to 5 miles. Loch Lomond is beautiful to behold and I... More

A beautiful loch surrounded by forested hills, particularly up in the northern reaches. It is no wonder the Scots have immortalized it in song.

In danger of touching on some of the national nerves, Loch Lomond is not one of the top ten lochs of Scotland. It is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area.
