This is dealing with recent history and in the heart of the community effected so to any extent a certain point of view might be expected ,however I felt that the complete one-sided telling of the tale almost obscured the tragedy of the History being...More

This newly revamped museum is outstanding. It has had 10,000 visitors since it opened 3 months ago- that record speaks for itself. A must visit. Great to see a top class museum to highlight Derry's history!!!

We visited the Museum immediately after completing the Bogside History Tour with Paul Doherty (see separate review). I would recommend doing the two in that order as the exhibits bring the history to life, adding graphically to Paul's descriptions. There are many haunting artifacts preserved...More

Visited the museum over Easter with my family. Difficult to describe the emotional impact of following the story leading to the events on Bloody Sunday and the subsequent fight to clear the names of the protestors. Horrifying and inspiring in equal measure and helps understand...More

An absolute eye opener for an English person. Staff were lovely and we're willing to tell their own personal stories of that dreadful day. So moving. Absolute shame on the British army!! May the victims rest in peace now that justice has prevailed.

Museum dedicated to the troubles. Photographs, artifacts, and tour guides that are direct descendants of those that died added to the experience. A lot to read and take in and definitely worth the price of admission.

Good small museum. Puts the Bloody Sunday Massacre in context of the times and the events in run up to it. Children might get bored as a very adult Museum. Lots to read and watch but fairly static and the young might drive you insane....More

I was much more moved and fascinated by this ice little museum than I expected to be. They capture the feeling of the time and really give great perspective on the struggles of Derry.
