Beautiful cathedral. Very spacious and well laid out. We had a child's confirmation there, we thought the choir was fantastic. Well worth a visit.

A historic building with a magnificent spire and some wonderful stained glass. I understand that the huge stained-glass window behind the high altar is the largest in Ireland and the second largest in the British Isles, Salisbury Cathedral having the only window that's bigger. I attended the Christmas Carol Service on the Sunday before Christmas which was an inspiring occasion,... More

This Cathedral was stunning. I attended Mass during our visit and it was beautiful to attend Mass in such a lovely Cathedral because these types of churches are no longer built. The Bishop said Mass and and I spoke with him after. He as so kind when I was asking him questions...he even gave me a booklet detailing the history... More

Such a beautiful Cathedral and well worth a visit. I sometimes come to the early morning mass prior to going to work, has a feeling of serenity about the place. The alter and windows are stunning.

Attended the Cathedral as it was not part of a tour and it was a pleasant experience. It was quiet and peaceful place inside with a well tended garden and shrine outside.

Before I left Ireland I was christened, made my first Confession,Communion and was Confirmed there. Part of my life and when I go back to Derry I always go and sit at the back of the church where the men sat. I still remember the exodus for a smoke after communion but before the mass had ended. I am 50... More

Beautiful catholic cathedral, quite close to the center of the city, but outside the walls. Really pretty religious building worth visiting.

The church is beautiful. Gorgeous statues of all different saints. This year is the year of Mercy and the cathedral is one of the church's with the main door being the mercy door. Beautiful ceilings. Amazing.
