Actually, we went a longer trails than the Granite trail, but the parts we went were really nice. At the highest point you have a very nice view over all the Newcastle area including the ocean.

This walk is not for the faint hearted !!!... I think I am reasonably fit and I found the first part tough enough, but worth the climb...amazing!!!
