The visit to the fort itself is free and well worthwhile. Take time to soak up the atmosphere and reflect on the lives of our ancestors. The Centre is well set up for children and families. Great staff.

Super day out. Staff in period costume were brilliant, geat craic with a run through history customised for their audience. Will definitely go back!

Great spot for a half day trip! A step back in history. Super for an overview of the ancient celts! Maybe a good day out if the weather isn't great!

Well worth a visit to learn all about the ancient rulers of Ireland. Nice wee cafe with very helpful and friendly staff throughout.

Thank your for your comment. The coffee shop is great, and at this time of the year the grounds area perfect for a walk, always plenty to see before enjoying a cup of coffee and something nice from the coffee shop

We had expert tour guides which made this very enjoyable but it is easy to get the scope of it on your own. There are no structures here just the mound itself. Archaeology has reveled multiple uses of the site but many mysteries remain. It's...More
