Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really nice small harbour to walk around and take pictures. Couple of good eating places nearby. Hotel on the front has an excellent cafe with big windows if it gets a bit windy.

Really loved this harbour, the town itself is set back a short walk but the harbour has excellent sea and land views, large kids play area, fantastic beach and plenty of eating places for families etc. One of the better harbours in the area that caters for families, yes a little more focused on the tourism trade and may not suit those looking for a more natural harbour but very enjoyable and would visit again and be happy to be based here.

Couldn't get to enjoy the splendour of the sea and sights I'd see here due to here being far too busy and not enough parking available. Cars would have parked in your mouth if possible. Sad that I couldn't get to see here properly.

Easy to find / get to. Very pleasant little harbour. Good restaurants and helpful local folk. The shops are good too. The Diamond contains (hides) a number of gems. Some really good restaurants ... but you have to poke about a bit...... no, don't be put off it's part of the unassuming charm of the place.
The really supurb Holy Trinity Church is a recently refurbished/restored mid 18th century architectural masterpiece, tucked serenely away in the Ballycastle Diamond. It is an almost perfect example of public building of its period. A real surprise.
Lovely little town all-together.

Had ice cream and watched the world go by last night. Plenty of places to sit and watch the kids on the sandy play park. It was very busy getting set up for stalls for the fair today which did detract a little from the normally scenic and quiet front. The harbour rails are all newly painted and it look

A lovely place to sit and relax watching the various boats coming and going. We sat one afternoon with our fish and chips - there are quite a few people walking by, but far enough away from the main tourist areas to avoid the big crowds.

Thie is a beautiful little harbour with a great view. There isnt much to do ,maybe walk the small town and relax. One thing you need to do is go to Mortons fish and chips.BEWARE bring a friend or bring an appetite ,probably both.I heard rumors but we ordered a two piece fish a regular chips.Being from Canada we figured regular size so threw on an onion rings.Big mistake I picked up the order and thought they made a mistake, too many cartons. It seems that the fish is so big it takes two containers to fit one piece of fish. The order was huge, lets just say the seagulls got most of the fries and rings.Best fish I have haD IN AGES
