Hidden away in quite the well-to-do part of town, Shandon offers more than you think on first impression. The greens are frighteningly quick, even in the wet and covered in subtle contours. They are a true test but run true which is all you can ask. There is room to miss on most holes but your next shot is almost... More

This pleasant golf club restaurant offers a comprehensive menu. The Cob salad and fish and chip were a hit, closely followed by the bang bang chicken. I would recommend this to all who want food at a reasonable price, served by pleasant staff.

Played here last summer. Have played a lot of courses in Ireland and would go as far to say that the greens had to be up there with the best in the country. Course was in great condition. Lovely parkland course near centre of Belfast. Very likeable pro with well stocked shop..

My son, daughters don't wife visite the club for Sunday evening carvery. All tables were reserved or occupied but we were offered a table behind the bar which was fine. Waitresses/bar staff were very busy but we were eventually given menus and we got our own drinks. Although a separate menu was available we all had chicken wings and the carvery.... More

Played Shandon Park GC on an online discount. Great welcome at Pro Shop from (I assume) the Pro. Very friendly and welcoming. Had our cart parked by the first after I had phoned prior to request one. Lovely course with superb greens (best I've putted on all year). Lovely food after in clubhouse. Will certainly be back. Thank you!!

We went on Sunday for lunch, the food was reasonably priced. The lasagne was tasty. The service was friendly and we had a lovely view of the greens.

Bank Holiday Monday was an opportunity to grab a round of Golf at the beautiful Shadon Park Golf Club in Belfast. Added to the fact that the Open Compettition for GUI members was £15 meant I/we had another chance to play 18 holes at one of the nicest courses in the city. The course is sitting a few meters for... I last played Shandon Park forty years ago. It was good then, even better now. Maybe I was playing off the ladies tees this time! A lovely parkland course with a number of very challenging holes. Rightly famed for some of the finest amateur golfers of two generations, the Hoeys. The roll of honour in their impressive new clubhouse is... More
