Not easy to find and I'm from N Ireland, but once found, well worth it. Open Tues to Friday, and what a history the "Rifles" have, unbelievable collection, and what a history they have to tell, put a visit on your bucket list, you will not be sorry

The royal ulster museum offers a glimpse at the rich history of the royal ulster rifles. The exhibition is garnered with historical artifacts and accounts of the most famous skirmishes and engagements. Staff are lovely knowledgeable and care to make your experience truly unique and interesting. Would visit again any time.

Our grandsons were desperate to visit this small museum - it was well worth it.Very interesting time was spent there [1 hour]. It is free to enter, and even I found it interesting.

As far as the history of this regiment goes, there is no better place to visit. Not only that, it gives you an insight of the British soldier who came from Northern Ireland and fought in both world wars and all the conflicts we have been engaged in since.

Had half an hour to kill but you could easily spend half a day in here to take it all in. Really interesting history to the regiment which has saw action across the British empire one officer got a medal from Hitler

So few local people know that this place exists. Its tucked away in the city centre and is a treasure trove of memorabilia. The staff are ex-service men and are extremely knowledgable about the artefacts on show. Although small you could spend a good couple of hours here browsing and listening to the staff
