Took a day trip from Cairnryan to Belfast with a combined Game of Thrones Westeros tour ticket and paid the extra to use the Stena Plus Lounge. It was worth every penny. Loved the quiet, comfortable area at the bow with its fantastic forward views...More

We travelled by ferry and didn't need any id when I flew you just need photo Id so a drivers license is enough! We didn't need anything either time for my toddler who didn't have a passport!

We also went by car but noticed several buses arriving in time for the ferry. Try googling your town to Cairnryan and see what you get. There's also a train station in Stranraer which may also provide a bus to the ferry.
