On the final piece there was a clash of cymbals that was superb ☺️ All that set in this beautifully ornate building with fantastically moulded plaster ceilings, historical pictures and painting covering every aspect of Belfast's... I was here for the Hear my Words concert, featuring the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, and the kids’ equivalent, the Belfast Philharmonic Chamber Choir. That was very good, but how is the venue? Handy location for train or bus travel, not far from Great Victoria Street Station. The exterior is very ornate, all chamfered quoins, Corinthian capitals, leafy ironwork and faces... More

Concerts by the Ulster Orchestra, in the Ulster hall, are highlights not to be missed. World-class music making in beautiful surroundings.

Have just been to a rock concert by Europe here and what a lovely old building, I love to find out more about its history and attend more events here. It has good access, clean facilities and lovely ornate wall decorations, see the photo. The sound travelled well and it had upper level seating, i hope to visit it again... More

I have been to concerts in several different music venues in a number of different cities, London, Dublin, New York, and the Ulster Hall cannot be bettered. The Ulster Hall was designed and built for music and any band that can't get a good sound in this hall must be doing something terribly wrong. Over the years I have seen... More

Iconic Ulster music venue with huge history in evidence. Art galleries also real pleasant to take a look at. A shrine you must not miss!

Went to the Ulster Hall to watch Alan Davies. Been along time since I have been in it and can say that a lot of money has been spent in the refurbishment of the venue. Entrance hall is very elegant with various snippets of history up on the walls. Waiting area/ticket office is overcrowded. Seating was very good. I was... More
