Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Cornmarket area has a good selection of shops in Belfast offering a wide variety of shops - some brands and some independent.

I haven't been in this area for a number of years and was sorry to see that so many of the smaller shops have gone; however delighted to find that Enlanders' Jewellers is still there and still run by the Enlander family, unlike other Jewellers who just trade under an established name with no family connections at all.
Good quality jewellery at a very reasonable price. I was made to feel very special, you cannot beat this kind of warm personal service. My Grandmother got her engagement and wedding rings here and I hope that someday my grandchildren will too.

Wonderful area of Belfast with so much history. Great place to walk, shop, dine and see a few of the local sculptures. I love the architecture of the city also! Many street musicians!

I am a bit biased writhing this as a recently got engaged in a wonderful family run jewellers 'Enlanders' situated in corn market.A lot of the individually owned shops have gone from this area but they have remained over 55 years. They could not have been more helpful with a real caring personal touch. this are also leads to the victoria centre and the up and coming arthur street

I can recall Cornmarket being the central location for people to congregate. There was a grand bandstand which has now given way to the Spirit of Belfast sculpture. It’s still a focal point and the heart beat of the city.

Corn Market has its own range of shops like Hotel Chocolat, White Stuff, Thorntons etc and is the main route from Belfast City Centre to the Victoria Square shopping centre that includes House of Fraser and Odeon Cinema. A must for a good selection of fodd outlets as well from fast food to more up market.

Cornmarket is a small street joining High St to Victoria Sq, but locals refer to the five streets, which converge at the "Spirit of Belfast", as Cornmarket. It's a trendy place to hang out, judging by the amount of young people here, and at weekends entertainment is often provided. Plenty of shops about also, and it's pedestrianised.

It's just the centre leading off to about 5 other streets where everyone seems to congregate. From it you can get to Victoria square. It's just an area nothing amazing to see except some teenagers trying to dance lol
