Went in for a pint when we visited Belfast in January. Me and my friend were met by a miserable bloke behind the bar who served us in silence and 3 old men sitting at the bar, whispering and staring at us. As soon as they heard the accent the barman turned the music off and went and sat at the other side of the pub. To be fair it was a good pint of Guinness but definitely the worst service and atmosphere I’ve ever witnessed in a pub. I know there’s history here but to treat tourists like that when they’re spending money there is just petty. Won’t be back

Enjoyed a drop of the black stuff in this locals pub renowned for its live music sessions. I liked all the different bank notes hanging from the ceiling and there is brewery paraphernalia and other items of interest on the walls.

A lovely bar full of lovely people. We stumbled across it looking for a drink before food, and the outside is welcoming to all. Come here.

What a great, authentic Irish pub. Wishing I was there right now. If you don't enjoy this pub, you are doing Belfast wrong! Met so many great musicians and friendly folks.
