The coffee was nice enough but the surroundings, the decor and the ambience were terrible. What a wasted opportunity by Belfast City Council, who the building but contract out catering, are missing by not presenting a venue worthy of the title Castle. It was more...More

Great gardens, walks and stiff climb to cliff top? Nelson's nose! Good toilets and book store. Cafe slow service but good quality laid back.

The castle has a great coffee shop but, the best part is the view of the city from top of the hill. Make sure to get the first bus because there are limited at when the stops occur during the week.

It has a great view over Belfast Harbor and a lovely tea room inside I would highly recommend the afternoon tea. There are often weddings going on. Could probably walk around in 30 Minutes not very large. Small car park

Belfast Castle is a beautiful place to visit. Owned and restored by the city council it is a credit to them. The views of Belfast are excellent, the gardens lovely and the castle itself well equipped for people with mobility difficulties.

The ground floor is open and there is a cafeteria in the cellars. There is also full access to the ornamental gardens. The upper floors weren't accessible whilst we were there but that may change as the rooms up there are... More
