pub was jam packed-practically standing room a-only! Locals were playing instruments-banjo, guitar, fiddle etc and they were great. Music finished early on though and thought another band were setting up on their departure to discover it was just speakers to play pop music-gutted!!!

Kelly's Cellars is one of the oldest and most famous pubs in Belfast and for all the right reasons. Nestled in Bank St. in the heart of the city it is a truly traditional Irish pub / tavern with brilliant music and a truly Ireland of the thousand welcomes atmosphere. You will travel the world over and probably find an... More

I have been here many times before and it is the type of place you really need to be in the right frame of mind for. It is busy, loud, crowded and pretty much full on. If you want a quiet drink likely not the choice. If you are out with a group and don't mind it being full on... More

Tucked away in a side street, this original and quirky pub is well worth searching out. Good selection of craft beers and genuine Irish beef stew. Sadly no music when we visited but the ambience made up for that.

In Belfast for 3 days and spent a good portion of that time in Kelly's Cellars. The place has a great feel to it, its small, friendly, warm and laid back. It was freezing cold outside when we were there in November, but there is a sizeable outdoor seating area for those who don't mind the cold, or are visiting... More

As the name suggests, Kelly's is a traditional irish cellar. First time here and google maps did a good job of directing me here. As soon as you walk in, your greeted with warmth. The bald headed guy behind the bar was really nice. We asked for food and we had the best irish stew, served with crusty bread. The... More

Popped in here for a drink as it had been recommended to us by some locals. It was full of character and had a great atmosphere.

Cracking boozer and one of the best pints of Guinness in Belfast - very atmospheric and lots to read on the walls. Tucked away just off the main city centre - history of the next door St Mary's Church and the mass bell did make me sup up and pay a visit - well worth seeking out

Kelly's happens to be right by our office and next door to our favourite restaurant in the town, Mourne Seafood, so we get plenty of opportunities to visit and we really like it. There is a fire by the door and a load of old rickety benches and seats, so cosy and old fashioned and not trying to be anything.... More
