    A must go to bar
This is a must go to bar...what a place, great mix of people of all age ranges went on the Saturday night and never left the place until late great guitarist playing a range of music from Oasis to Fleetwood Mac, Springsteen to Sam Fender buzzing atmosphere lasses up dancing to the guitarist the lot...Great bar staff and reasonable prices for a city centre. This is a great bar for couples, groups of friends and families (over 18's). Seated and standing Space available outside to enjoy a drink.

Go here for a real Irish experience!
We were recommended to go here by more than one local. We were told this place has the BEST Guinness in the city with the warmest welcome. They were right! It felt like a real, traditional Irish experience. The building and art work is unbelievable.

    Stumbling upon a gem
My husband and I were wandering around the streets of Belfast one afternoon during our visit there and spotted this pub down a quiet alley. The day was overcast and a bit chilly, so the inside of the pub was jammed with patrons. There was a table for 2 outside, so we sat there and enjoyed an afternoon Guinness. Despite the day being a bit cold, the vibe was warm.

    Fantastic atmosphere
We were recommended this bar by our taxi driver and it was fantastic. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and there was live music and as it was nice we sat outside. The atmosphere was so good and joyful. The place was extremely busy but the bar staff were amazingly quick at serving and all very friendly. So pleased we found it

    Live music
We had researched before heading to Belfast for the weekend and this place was high on recommendations. We loved it ! Afternoons there was a traditional band playing and later on the live music outside had everyone in the streets dancing . Good atmosphere and very very busy despite the mixes weather . Near some good street art and a decent kebab take out .

    Best Irish Stew and Guinness
It is a must go place where you can find nice live Irish performance, delicious stew and pint of real Guinness! Very crowded but worth to visit and enjoy your holiday beside native people. Everything is colorful and full of life over there. Incredible atmosphere where you can recharge your liveliness. Highly recommended!

This is the worst place in Belfast. They say on their website that you must book because of Covid but I tried to book by calling, emailing and using their booking system on their Facebook page and got zero response. I gave up and went to the venue for lunch. The waiter told me they were serving Irish stew and seated me outside. I was happy as I wanted to try the stew. Then a few minutes later he returned saying that there's no point me sitting as the manager told him the stew had just finished so I should leave. I was shocked at this. He said they always have stew till 5pm so he doesn't know why the manager said its finished when it was lunch time and the stew is served for lunch. He told me to leave.

Do not waste your time and go to this place. I would rather go to McDonalds instead.

If you want traditional irish stew I highly recommend the Crown Liquor Saloon which also has the original decor from the 1820s so you get delicious food and amazing decor.

Clean glasses isn't much to ask for, not 1 pint glass but 2 with lipstick on them. Husband brought the 2nd glass back, set it on the bar stating "there's another dirty glass" as the first one the staff got on as if he was only after another beer. Which he didn't want and 2nd pint was a full one and never expected it changed. Within 5mins of returning the 2nd pint a female, who am guessing was the manager came to are table followed by a doorman stating she didn't like the way my husband spoke to her. Stated that they were busy. It was a totally unprofessional approach and not necessary at all. In such times as now i would've thought making sure everything is clean would be a priority and going on a power trip would the last thing to do. Unprofessional is the only word to use and next time we will go else were and am sure that bar will have clean glasses.

Kelley's cellars was a cosy bar with a great beer garden! The service was fantastic and the staff really wanted to help. This made the experience even more enjoyable.

Jamie the hostess was incredibly accomodating and ran of her feet making sure everyone was seen to. 5* for Jamie!

You must come to Kelly’s Cellar when visiting Belfast. It’s so lovely inside, very traditional with fab bar staff. We sat outside, there is a covered awning where live music was playing on Saturday Night, plenty of singing & dancing.
Pizza & pint £12.

Enjoyed a couple of hours here on a Sunday lunchtime. Lots of drinks options and pizza / Irish stew also. A lively traditional folk group were performing in a corner which was very enjoyable.
Well worth a visit.

Came here for a wee pint of Guinness and some homemade stew before I would shoot on with my daily duties. On arrival I've received a Warm Welcome from Kirsty, she showed me down the table, brought me my stew promptly. Stew tasted Amazing and it was the Best Guinness in Town! 😎 Great warm atmosphere, followed by warm service, what else do you want? Thank you! Keep it up!

Nice pub in not such a nice location just off the Main Street. Staff nice and friendly behind the bar. Sat outside in a tent. As it was the run up to Christmas they had a bloke dressed as the grinch supposedly entertaining. He was half American, loud and annoying plus made it clear at the top of the voice that he hated the f*ing English…we 5 are all English so didn’t bode well. Also another guy sat there spent the whole time staring at me. I guess also because I’m English.
Was a shame really because it could have been lovely and traditional but we ended up leaving before it kicked off.

We experienced our first Belfast Guinness here. Neither the Guinness nor the surroundings did disappoint!

Chap playing Lily Allen songs with an Irish twist helped to make a very enjoyable evening with my clan.

Lovely ambience and history on the walls ... and breathing room only ... showed the pub is very much a busy, thriving and enjoyable place to visit - for all age groups - over 18 obvs!!
