After battling the sale crowds after Boxing Day, my brother led us to Kelly's Cellars which is very handy down a lane just off Royal Avenue. Being winter, we were inside and the atmosphere and decor were great. Really enjoyed their Guiness, very creamy. Did not eat this time. Loved the old artifacts on the walls.

We came across Kelly's by chance and popped in for a Gunness. The staff were pleasant and the prices were reasonable. The pub had a great atmosphere and was busy and jolly. We get the nicnacs are part of the theme but personally it looked a little cluttered and dated.Minor thing thought as everything else is positive

A proper ni pub! Amazing environment. They have a lot of space inside and outside. You should definitely visit if you are visiting belfast. A lot of fireplaces to keep you warm. They have a really good stew too!

This is one of my favourite pubs in Belfast. It's just so cosy with lots of different small areas to sit in. We had a couple of drinks and enjoyed some of the live music and the festive atmosphere.

Quite possibly the friendliest pub I have ever been in the perfect mix of the modern and traditional - fantastic staff, great craic with th locals and the Guinness - well sublime!! Live music was an added bonus and even if you aren't a smoker sitting outside in the middle of December is no hardship - visit Kelly's it will... More

Stumbled across this little gem at the back of Tesco just off the Main Street and was like stepping back in time. It was really good and everything you would expect of a traditional Irish bar.

Called in yesterday early evening for a well deserved break from our Christmas shopping trip. We had both been here before and enjoyed the Guinness and eclectic mix of patrons. My partner grabbed a seat and I waiting behind a gentleman who was being served at the bar - the bar wasn't overly busy (first section as you come in... More

We stopped at Kelly's on a walking tour of Belfast Public Houses and the welcoming fire and familiarity literally rolled back the years. The view from any point in the bar is virtually unchanged over many decades. During the early 1970s this bar was synonymous with social and political activism as students mixed with political activists in sharing what was... More
