The whole area and history is fascinating to me. How difficult life must have been for the people during these times. May peace continued in Belfast.

Take a city sightseeing tour bus. It's interesting and you get to see the best of it with some unbiased commentary. Good way to see most of it

A walk full of interest. Start or end at the Milltown Cemetery with its republican plots. The murals tel a story. Lots dedicated to James Connolly. Some stretch out to international solidarity. Loclas are very friendly and helpful.

Used to live here dont bother youself unless you like false stories and propaganda! Dirty murals the developers have ruined what was a great area along with our so called Gaels. They have done the same to the Shankhill road which used to be a great shopping road.

I was brought up with the troubles on our TV's in the 70-80's and the name Falls road and Belfast were know only for their troubled past. So what a great opportunity to see the place for ourselves in times of peace. We walked the Falls Road, The peace street, and like everyone else, we took loads of pictures along... More

A must see when visiting Belfast. A place with plenty of history and some amazing murals detailing the history of Belfast. You can either do it on your own and take a walk down or do one of the Black Cab or Walking tours where you will get a bit more information from those who lived through these times and... More

We had a walking tour by a former prisoner which was so interesting. We started at the Divis Tower and ended at Milltown Cemetery. It was cold and wet (it was early February) and the walk lasted 2 hours so by the end of it, the complimentary drink in warm and dry conditions was VERY welcome. Our guide did suggest... More

You must see it, not only to take a photo and show it on social media. You must visit the place where the riots happened, the fights.. All of this is symbolised in those walls. It is not full of tourists, at least not when I went there. Belfast history is written on these walls and you can read it... More
