This arts venue is so close to the Cathedral Quarter. Just across the road but should not be missed. Excellent shows from first rate, friendly staff.

I am no lover of modern art but this place isn't that far removed from the MAC which is the dictionary definition of 'pretentious'. Elitist 'art' which makes no sense to the untrained eye. Call it contemporary, call it boundary pushing but at the end of the day the choice of exhibitions are beyond the ken of normal people.

I attended this event at this amazing venue. The main event was straight through and into the back hall. There was a pop up bar serving different Guinness brews and a number of local artisan food producers. These included Broughgammon goat tacos, cheese (my favourite was the blue cheese), sour dough and chocolate bread with Abernethy butter, oysters with Tabasco... More

I recently took my 2 year old daughter to a fun and relaxed art class at the gallery. All the ladies who supervised were lovely and interacted really well the children. They had a bird theme running throughout all of the activities, it was nice to have a focus. My daughter really enjoyed the painting and the freedom to mix... More

We spent a couple of hours with our two young children at an art workshop for kids and we had a lovely time. The kids had a lot of fun which was only possible due to the attentive and enthusiastic nature of the staff that welcomed us there. If you are passing call in and I hope you will enjoy... More

It's a great gallery space and the only continuously functioning showcase in Belfast for contemporary high quality fine art - and community art projects as a sideline! With a bit more public funding it could be on par with the KW (Berlin Biennale location) in Berlin. High profile and innovative curatorial work. A MUST SEE for any artlover visiting Northern...
