I live by Three Cliffs and I wanted to warn people about the dangerous currents in the sea caused by the river. It is REALLY UNSAFE to paddle/swim in the river or the sea as there is a very strong undercurrent. There has been 1...More

I've given this beach the lowest rating to get attention drawn to a serious risk here . It really is the perfect beach for everyone if the right type of dogs and owners are using it . Unfortunately on too many occasions I had to...More

A beautiful beach reached by footpath from Southgate or Pennard. The three cliffs at the east end of the beach is a spectacular view. However be very aware of the tides here as they can be dangerous.

Very clean and a really nice beach great place to wander round and explore surrounded by rocky outlets and golden sands. Walk to get to beach is a bit of a trick but well worth it. Walk is very pleasant

Three Cliffs Bay is truly magical. From the moment you park up, you experience it. Walking through a small forest which opens up into a beautiful green meadow with a meandering river and castle remains sat on a hill; it’s a wonderful walk to the...More

A spectacular setting. Quite a walk down a valley to get there but worth it. If you’re feeling energetic then a steep climb to the ruins of the castle that overlooks the valley is well worth it.

This beach is a little treck away, but that just preserves it's beauty! Such a lovely place to visit!!

This is truly a beautiful place to visit, we went in October half term, and a cold, dry sunny day, so not busy. There is ample parking in a field at the top of the bay, and there is about a 1/2 mile walk down...More

We have walked at Three Cliffs Bay once before but never on such a wonderful late October Sunday morning as last weekend. A first visit to Three Cliffs Bay holiday park with a newly purchased caravan was a real treat. Greeted by a friendly team...More

The beach is large but open. There are a few nooks that could be considered secluded but generally you pick your spot and people walk past, many with dogs.
