I can remember the old "docks" in Swansea and can really appreciate the way they have developed the new Marina, to modern standards, with plush accomodation, nice restaurants and a few shops.

Lots of places to eat and drink. Stunning yachts and boats. You can have river cruises during the summer months.

The marina has been re-vamped and looks wonderful. The leisure centre is good with children and the museums have something for every age. There are places to have a coffee or to eat.

I attended at Swansea Marina for a piano performance and it was beautiful. There's a wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding areas and many places to eat and drink. I look forward to attending there socially.

FABULOUS indian restaurant, new area, car park still in stones and PREMIER INN needs to find its feet....reminds me of canary wharf in London - so if the investment keeps going - great vibe and fanatastic for trade in Swansea.

The station is a good 30 minutes walk to the Marriott hotel. It can be done, but would recommend a taxi.
