my daughter love this place and we have invested in an annual pass ( for many years) , and we go quiet often , the formal events , Christmas and Halloween are great fun

There seem to be mixed views on this but all in all I would say its worth a visit. Walking round will nicely fill half a day. Well kitted for children and the food is reasonable.

Called here after picking a leaflet up and surprised at all the things to do and see, lovely views and friendly staff, has a wide range of artefacts and machinery, The water mill is still in use and has all the history clearly marked out
