Met a friend here for lunch and enjoyed our time there very much. I had the leek and potato soup with a cheese scone, my friend chose the cheese baked potato with salad. Generous portions and all very tasty. Friendly, helpful staff. I look forward to returning on a dry day to explore the house and grounds.

Went for their free open day today and so glad we didn't pay. The gardens are lovely but the house was the very disappointing and the worst national trust building we have been in. Lovely grounds to take your dog and the cafe was adequate but there are much nicer national trust building to see.

Great Location great to walk around in the summer or a fresh winters day. The Caravan club site is great also as is the inside of the house. Well worth a visit.

Great expansive house, housing many paintings now owned by National Trust, standing in many acres of great park including a lovely walled garden, good camping site in the grounds. plenty of parking. Cafe for refreshments, interesting outbuildings

I enjoyed my walk around the ground at tredegar house but the actual house itself was a rip off and a let down as I didn't feel that I got value for money for what I paid to go in there as a lot of it was closed so I will not return to the house itself but would be... More
