If you get the chance to see a show of interest to you its a nice small theatre so no big crowds. Walking distance from central Cardiff.

if you like theatre and music this is a place to go the hall is very comfortable ,sight line are good and the accoustics are second to none

We attended the Shires show at the hall. Enjoyed the show but found the exits rather confusing as you have so many levels to go down and feel it would not be easy to evacuate in an emergency especially if you have difficulty going down...More

long before Cardiff became a 'destination' this was Wales premier venue. The passage of time hasn't been kind, but still a good venue

There are lifts there however not sure to what level they go. Sure your mother will be fine.
