Visited on the 15th November and had a great trip on the narrow gauge steam railway. A 45 minute return trip is most enjoyable and the views across the lake are really nice. The little engine was named Dolbadarn and driven expertly by Driver Hefin...More

We combined a trip on this railway with a visit to the slate museum and had a lovely day. The kids (aged 4 and 7 years) really enjoyed themselves. The wooden seats do get a little uncomfy on the bottom after an hour of sitting...More

A nice little return trip for about an hour with great views of the lake, although the hard wooden benches in the carriages are not built for comfort.

I went to this railway during a visit to Llanberis, as part of a group. The return trip takes around one hour and gives excellent views of the lake and mountains, recommended.
