We have been meaning to visit the falls for weeks now and finally this weekend we were able to as we camped close by. Pay £1 to get down to the falls, its a pretty steep walk down but so worth it, the falls are gorgeous! Much more breathtaking than I thought they would be - also dog friendly!

A lovely place to visit, the views are spectacular and although I was not able to go right to the top of the falls, my husband had no trouble doing so.

If you want to see these falls, the best way is to hike up to them or drive, park, and then walk. From the mountain railway, even though the train is moving at a slower speed, it passes by quick, and you don't get a chance to really enjoy this piece of nature.

Best walk in the area! Some of the scenery is absolutely stunning and it's so peaceful! You can always find a quiet spot to chill out in!

We had a lovely walk around the Conwy falls, short and medium walks are available but fairly tame if you're looking for a good hike. There had been recent rain hen we visited and the falls were spectacular but I can't comment what they're like when the water level is lower. Paths are uneven so the falls are unsuitable for... Good stop to get out of the car after driving all day. We had to get change for the turnstile. We snacked when we got to a bench near the falls. Nice view.

You pay 1 pound to enter through a turn stile. I suppose this goes towards maintenance of the track leading down to the falls. The waterfall is magnificent- so great a rumbling that you can feel the earth tremble. Wonderful spot!

Stopped on our way from a disappointing trip to Bala. It made the day worthwhile. We went to the cafe first (nice strong proper ground coffee) which allows you to then avoid the £1per person turnstile fee. Bargain! We did a short but adventurous circular walk to the bottom of the falls and then up rocky steps alongside them to... More
