North Wales Adventure Sightseeing Day Trip from Liverpool

40 reviews
The sights and scenery of North Wales are tricky to explore from Liverpool without a rental car. Rather than string together train and bus journeys; choose this full-day tour for the benefit of comfortable minivan transport and a guide for background on the sights. Walk Llandudno’s pier, follow hidden roads through Snowdonia, visit Conwy Castle, and more; and discover this beautiful corner of Britain without a care in the world.

After driving around we decided to stop off for some dinner in Betwsy-co-ed but 1st found a little market with everything in the window & inside, we were greeted by a lady who asked us to follow the one way system in her shop but not before waiting outside so as not to get to close to anyone else, shop was full but clean, staff were polite but very helpful. If ever you get up there don’t forget to pay this shop a visit for all the jams, pasta, chutneys, breads, sweets, coffee, teas & cakes. Plus there a nice little park to walk around.

Very friendly staff. Lovely selection of local produce. Fabulous snowdonia cheeses, chutneys, jams etc. Lots of lovely sweets and unusual bits and pieces. We tried the rum and salted caramel hot chocolate! Well worth stopping in for a look.

Me and Hubby shopped in here today (Wednesday). It is always clean and tidy inside and the lady behind the counter is helpful. This family-run Deli sells quality Welsh produce at reasonable prices. They also cater for special diets and offer a selection of sugar-free and gluten-free items. At this time of year, they specialise in Xmas gifts and hampers. The shelves are also stocked with foodstuffs from around the globe. We purchased a 200g portion of Welsh slate cavern aged cheddar (Dragon brand) and a 150g box of cappuccino thin biscuits (Annas brand) which totalled £4.40 (contactess card payments accepted). I have bought these particular items before and they were delightful.

Such a broad range of foods from around the world but with plenty supporting Welsh producers too. Bit pricey, tapping into the tourist trade, but definitely worth a visit and a treat or ten!
