Went to this shop with my family. From the moment we stepped in, the employees who were all in the counter was just staring at us. Not looking, staring. We were admiring the carpets and we noticed that one of the employees were just staring at us like we were going to soil the display. None of them asked if we needed help with anything. We went around the shop for a bit, they had nice displays but were kind of pricey. I did like the steiff bears, I wanted to purchase one, but the employees made us feel uncomfortable like they thought we were going to steal from their shop. An elderly couple went it to browse and the employees entertained them. As for us, nothing, cold treatment. We weren't dressed down or dirty, but we didn't feel welcome in that store. I'm not saying they roll out the red carpet, but since they are a place of business, it would have been nice to have felt a little warmth from them. The shop had signs everywhere. Like please don't touch that, please don't lift from display. Like I said, it was a very unfriendly atmosphere, and we left disgusted. Maybe some will have a better experience there, maybe if they gave out that aura that they were loaded or can afford to buy the whole shop. Though we are often in Betws, that shop is not something I can't recommend to people I know, and because of that experience we had, we will avoid it like the plague.…

Hubby and me had a careful browse around here today (Wednesday). I always make sure that my handbag doesn't accidentally knock anything off the shelves! This family-run business sells quality branded products. The majority of ornaments are expensive. We liked the jazzy Betty Boop figurines. They had a collection of Christmas gifts on display. However, we didn't buy anything on this occasion.…

We were staying in Betws-y-coed and thought we would check this place out. It is in a strip mall at the train station. Huge variety of good quality gifts and something for every budget. Highly recommend.
