Lovely views, a bit daunting if you’re afraid of heights but well worth it. There’s a lovely little cafe on a canal boat near the beginning of the walk serving soups, teas, coffees and tasty cakes and cream teas

Free parking at the Pontcyslite aqueduct has excellent 'conveniences', tea and gift shops, and also a small exhibition mostly accessible for those with impaired movement. The tow path can be walked along in both directions but if using the car park, usually means a return...More

Loved this walk along the aqueduct ! Nothing stranger than being so high up and yet have cabal boats float by on the thinnest strip of walk way!! Glad I walked it , give it a try!

Walked from Horseshoe Falls to the centre of Llangollen. Lovely walk, along the canal. Easy walking with parking at the Horseshoe Falls end. About 1.75 miles on the level. Big descent from car park to the canal but reasonably sure under foot.

The aquaduct at Pontcysyllte has been featured on TV programmes galore, but going there for real makes you realise that the television images simply don't do it justice. Amazing, don't miss it.

A young Thomas Telford designed the horseshoe falls which feeds the canal and was used to power the mills. A great wee walk with a lot of history along the way. Do not be afraid to take some wee bridges etc as they will not...More

The views of the aqueduct were beautiful!! Not for those with a fear of heights though as it is over 100ft in the air. The parts by the aqueduct were not steep and were a gentle walk.
