Walked to Horseshoe Falls from Llangollen town on a beautiful sunny afternoon along the canal. Very peaceful and the falls were lovely to see. Lots of family enjoying the surrounding area.

Horseshoe falls
Jun. 2021
Grandkids had loads of fun paddling in the water near Horseshoe Falls. Dog also waded into the water to fetch hi ball. It was hard to get them all out when it was time to go home. Must have been good as the kids wanted to come back the next day. And it was all free.

Spectacular scenery

Would recommend a drive/cycle/walk along the Horseshoe Pass. The views are wonderful with plenty of lay-bys to stop.

Absolutely Stunning Views
Mar. 2021 • Couples
Breathtaking views when you get to the top. There are lay bys and car parks for you to park in for free to climb to the summit. It is amazing when you're up there. Quite cold and windy on a day in March but I bet its gorgeous in the summer months. There is also a restaurant/cafe up there too.

A Winding Trek With Good Views
Sep. 2020
It is not far from Llangollen to Horseshoe Pass which appears, at the time we went, to be the meeting point for many bikers ant the summit where the Ponderosa restaurant/snack bar is located. Need a clear day for the visit.

Spent a couple of hours here, chilling out on a blanket watching the world go by and having a paddle in the river. Very pretty.
