Great time.

We've recently re visited the area staying at Carrog Station Campsite. The railway runs alongside. We had a ride on the train. Great ride pulled by a steam engine. Well worth it.

Absolutely not worth the money at all. We paid 57£ plus fuel, parking, food etc so 100£ plus. We went on the train to Carrog initially, took over an hour there and back the kids were very restless. Couldn't get in the room with the guy with the toucan puppet but the kids came to see Thomas. Thomas ride was up and... More

We went on the Steam Engine. A lovely trip to end the day with. Relaxing with lovely views of the countryside and all the new spring lambs. You can stop off at o e of the tea rooms en route and pick up the train on the return journey.

We visited today due to Thomas the Tank Engine being there and was surprised as to just how lovely this place is. It's like stepping back in time. We all loved it.

With 3 young sons to entertain this is the perfect way to spend a couple of hours. We got the train at Llangollen and did the return journey to Corwen and back. The route twists and turns through the beautiful scenery along the River Dee with a number of stops on the way. We took a picnic and ate on... More

Booked a two hour return trip on the steam train for me and family which consists of two five year olds. We managed to get our own cabin which was great! The journey was enjoyable with gorgeous scenery and we even took our own picnic to enjoy whilst we travelled through picturesque North Wales. The station itself is situated next... More

Hi I am sorry you were not able to see the signs on the A5 to Corwen Station but there are 2 signs one coming from the Llangollen end and one coming from the opposite direction. Both signs point to the pay and display carpark. The signs are yellow with a black steam train on, there is also the same... More

A fantastic couple of hours there and back on a steam train. Stopped off at Carrog station to have cake and a cuppa in the tea room at the old booking office. Definitely recommend the journey and experience.

We were on the electric service, paid the £1 on board charge to sit in the First Class carriage, a wonderful view sitting behind the drivers cab. Journey goes to Corwen but its station has not been completely finished yet. Lovely staff, an enjoyable experience.
