NT property

Fascinating old National Trust property which is mostly given over to a shop so admission is free. Plenty to see and buy.

A medieval merchant's house situated at the junction of Castle Street and High Street. No parking or toilets but a large and well stocked shop and there's plenty of eating places and pubs nearby. The house dates from the 14th, it's furnished and has the usual information boards and audio/visual exhibits depicting life in the house. Some uneven floors to... More

One of the oldest houses in Wales, this gives a view of the lifestyle of people in Conwy from centuries past. Well worth the entrance fee

Beautiful old property, maintained by the NT. Any information required about the place is provided by the staff member there who will answer all questions. We spent 30 minutes looking at the 5 rooms and asking about their content.

The chap in the toll house at the bridge encouraged us to come here, It's a really old merchant house, wattle and daub, a very historic building.

As a National Trust member this was one on my to do list. The house has been occupied over hundreds of years and has been really thoughtfully set out so that each room represents a different era in the house's occupation.

Good guides in this house who explain the story of the house through its long history. Well worth a visit as there are vety few properties of this type left.

This is a 14th century merchant's house. Each room is furnished & decorated in different periods representing the eras that this house was used. I enjoyed seeing the 'history' of the house. The cellar is a gift shop & has been a merchant space 700 years. Although there's not tour, the volunteers were quite eager to answer our questions.
