The Museum is housed in two towers of Caernarfon Castle. In it you will find a wealth of exhibits, supported by film, sound and models, telling the story of over 300 years of service by Wales' oldest infantry regiment in peacetime and in war.You can learn how the Regiment won 14 Victoria Crosses and hear the words of the famous writers who served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers.

I had not realised the castle housed this museum, but it was a great part of our visit. The exhibits are interesting throughout and they take a chronological approach. Our 4 year old enjoyed trying on all the military gear!

This exhibit, located within the Castle, is incredibly detailed. When I visit a museum I usually like to read EVERYTHING, however, this one beat me! About halfway through I couldn't read anymore and skipped through looking at the uniforms and weapons. There are a couple...More

I found the castle to be a bit of a let down especially when it cost £8.40 instead of the £5.80 advertised on the leaflets. The museum however is another matter, an interesting, informative, and very enjoyable way to learn about this very old regiment....More

This is within Caernarfon Castle so make sure to check it out, lots of exhibits to see. Very informative about years gone by.
