We took the last train of the day which was almost empty. The slow climb sees you go from industrial wasteland to beautiful countryside in 5 minutes. The smell of smoke and steam takes everyone back to childhood. On both sides buzzards and red kites...More

We spent an afternoon on this little gem.....with fantastic views of the Countryside. A beautiful steam train in immaculate condition. Very well organised, and it is clearly evident that the Staff take immense pride and pleasure in what they do.
